The Basalt Sanitation District is a Colorado Special District that provides wastewater collection and treatment services for the area of  Basalt  that includes Old Town Basalt, Elk Run, Southside and the Roaring Fork Club.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the BASALT SANITATION DISTRICT, EAGLE County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for directors than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023 is hereby cancelled pursuant to section 1-13.5-513(6) C.R.S.

The following candidates are hereby declared elected:
Patrick Maley, for a 4 year term until 2027.
Robert Schwener, for a 4 year term until 2027

The Board of Directors for the Basalt Sanitation District normally meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM at the District Administrative offices located at 227 Midland Ave. Suite C-2, Basalt, CO, 81621.

The District is currently using a hybrid model for its monthly Board of Director's Meeting.  Any members of the public that would like to attend, must do so via ZOOM.  If anyone from the public would like to attend, please call 970-927-3698 no later than 3:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month to be sent a ZOOM link.
