The Basalt Sanitation District is a Colorado Special District that provides wastewater collection and treatment services for the area of  Basalt  that includes Old Town Basalt, Elk Run, Southside and the Roaring Fork Club.


The Basalt Sanitation District is updating our Hazard Mitigation Plan in coordination with Eagle County and FEMA. Please follow the link below and take a few moments to complete the 2024 Hazard Mitigation Public Survey and let Eagle County know what hazards might impact our wonderful community and your opinion on what types of activities should be considered to reduce future impacts. Your responses will be kept anonymous and will help us strengthen our response to a potential disaster.  Thank you!

The Board of Directors for the Basalt Sanitation District normally meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM at the District Administrative offices located at 227 Midland Ave. Suite C-2, Basalt, CO, 81621.

The District is currently using a hybrid model for its monthly Board of Director's Meeting.  Any members of the public that would like to attend, must do so via ZOOM.  If anyone from the public would like to attend, please call 970-927-3698 no later than 3:30 PM on the second Wednesday of each month to be sent a ZOOM link.
